Major Improvement Strategy #1:  Mathematics
Add extended time, specific instructional practices, and ongoing formative to inform practice and to increase 8th grade mathematics growth.

Major Improvement Strategy #2:  English Language Arts
To increase 8th grade ELA growth using data analysis, Implementation of formative assessment strategies, specific instructional practices, guided practice, and targeted feedback during the planning and revision stages of selecting and using evidence while writing in response to nonfiction texts. 

Major Improvement Strategy #3: Disaggregated Groups

Implement responsive intervention strategies and procedures to meet subgroup targets.

Thursday, July 29th - L-Z 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Students will receive their schedule, locker info, and picture I.D.
Class and Athletic Fee's will be due at Check-In 

If you pay online through bring with you a printed/phone receipt and you will not have to wait in a long line!

Bring the basics and teachers will provide a specific supply list

9th grade AP and Honors Biology Students -
Students taking Ap Human Geography, AP Environmental Science, and Honors Biology are encouraged to attend an information meeting with their parents during Back to School night on August 5th in the Fruita 8/9 gym. The meeting will last from 5:00-5:15, which will still give you plenty of time to meet with your teachers. Ms. Blevens, Mrs. Willford, and Mr. Bonzer-Brown will provide an overview of the courses including course expectations and hints on how to be successful. The meeting is not required, but we encourage you to attend.
