Welcome to Midway Messenger, Fruita 8/9's student-led newspaper! Fruita 8/9 is comprised of a unique community - one that is on the cusp, or midway point, between youth and young adulthood. The goal of our dedicated staff is to research and report on the many extraordinary current events that our community has to offer. A big shout-out to the editors and staff writers that have worked hard to research, interview, photograph, and write about important events in our community and school. It is because of this dedicated team that we have a news platform on which to celebrate our school and hometown.
